as well as chere for the 2358 msg (: lol
woke up damn earlyyyyyyyy thanks to my sis
supposed to meet kc and sheena at 1230 to go for lunch at MS
but i was late for TWENTY MINUTES :D
fashionably late wad xD
had lunch at PASTA de WARAKU and the total bill was bout $60.23
hahahha the pasta was yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ((((((((:
and the bowl that dey used to serve my noodles was damn cute!
it's something lyk pasta mania but more ex and nicer luh, i tink
the desert is WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOO :D

amelia came along and we started shopping for my bdae prezzie! xD
hmm we spent bout $87 in half an hour? break record for me
we bought a bag, accessories and slippers (:

but the most HORRIFYING PRESENT
was a book and this PINK PINK PINK PINK PINK BAG

went out for lunch with my family aka PON TUITION!
went to SOUP KITCHEN at changi airport
the food's not bad, but i still personally prefer the pasta one (:
the bill came up damn high luh and it was very filling
walked alll over the airport and had coffee!
went to GIANT after that to shop LOL
bought alot alot alot of stuffs yumyum! haha

hmm this shall be a pretty wordy post and i'll post the pictures another time(:
day1weather was a lil wet and zomg we had to wake up damn early luh -.-
meeting was at 0830 at punggol jetty
and chere the ganchiong spider arrived at my house at 0650
arrived at punggol jetty at bout 0830 and
the 5 days away from civilisation began _
many ppl in livingstone were kinda disappointed at first
but i dont noe why i wasn -_-
mayb it was cuz i knew quite a no of ppl from the grp alr
KHEE MENG! our instructor looked lyk mr CHAI luh lol
had unpacking and store checking etc
kayaking lessons were delayed cuz of the rain
and we were thought how to tie knots
i learnt shit luh cant even rmb wad was thot LOL
had kayaking lessons together wif battuta (dno how to spell)
and we were supposed to capsize!
holy moo luh i drank tons of sea water cuz
i capsized with my mouth like tht -> :O
note: potentially high risk of getting hypertension
ended at bout 1830 and we had to pitch our tents and cook in the dark
WHAT A NICE START~
went to shower after dinner,tent pitching and clearing up
had this lameeee fire drill and lights off at 2300 (:
day2kicked start the day with PT
and running GAYPOK luh
played games lyk the colour and the number game
and forfeit was to do high speed jumping jacks -_____-
breakfast together and started to pack for the short hike to camp 1,
which is the camp with new facilities,larger compund and of course, more dogs
our group was slow and steady and were BEHIND TIME! lmaos
i ended up carrying the tent cuz i couldn walk five steps with the haversack
WITHOUT falling down )x
stopped halfway at this reservoir to play this game with battuta
AND WE WON! (((((:
reached camp1 tired and dyinggggggg
lunch and we were off to more activities :D
they left our trashbag at our campsite and
the dogs BIT AWAY OUR TRASH lmaos
played 3 more games den started the belaying lesson
zomg the helmet that i was using stankkkkkkkkkk X.X
went off for shower! <3 omg i cant love batthing more luh
sat outside the toilet and talked retarded stuffs (:
DINNER WAS A YUMYUM,BIG BIG BIG WELCOME XD
no maggi mee with toothpaste, canned curry or baked beans
it was food that is FRESH lmaos
dinner consisted of rice,cabbage,chicken and some ball thing
and der was syrup too :DDDDDD
after dinner was orienteering lesson at the MPH for the next day's hike
i started playing with raisins luh lol
geog is so not my fav sub
i almost fell aslp while the instructors were talking bout ubin
had red bean soup for supper
YUCKKKKKKKKKKK i skipped it lol
lights out agn at 2300 and i fell aslp straight (:
day3had FRESH bfast at the canteen again! ((((:

happiness is always so short lived LOL

i realised tht kheemeng and many other ppl cant pronounce ANGLICAN properly
and though i stood facing the sun for lyk 45 mins rgt
i remained the EXACT SAME COLOUR
and not a single HINT of red/brown/black -.-

i never walked so long in MY LIFE befoore
and somemore it was my first hike
i tink we walked bout 15km?
soooooooooooooooooooooo damn tempted to give up luh can zz
we were so tired we stared to sing teletubbies and barney's song -_-
walked very very far, drank loads and loads of water and had many many breaks xD
we picked up 100pieces of litter and 5 animals and edible foods
which helped us to cut 4 of the 6 checkpoints tht we were supposed to find
the compulsory checkpoint was at the top of a hill
climbed half,left our bags der and continued up to the top
and der is a quarry at the bottom
ZOOOOMG THE VIEW WAS LYK ____________________ (dont noe how to describe)
i noe this sounds cheesy
but though part of me felt EXTREMELY TIRED
i was actually quite happy wen we reached the top
the view definitely made the bloody long walk worth it
and we could actually see how far we have walked
great sense of accomplishment (:
finish blowing the wind, we trekked down and went backwards
to our campsite
my legs freaking grew heavier with each step luh
we eventually reached the campsite at bout 1730
muddy,tired,exhausted,sweaty,wet and with a great sense of accomplishment
i felt lyk a leaky tap cuz i nvr sweated so much b4 luh
had a breifing bout the next day's sea expedition before splitting up to do our tent pitching and cooking
the campsite sucked REAL BAD :X
der was:
1.no toilets
2.no dustbins
3.no clean water
4.many many ants
5.cockroaches
6.mosquitoes
7.frogs
i tink the cooking ppl wil die earier :X
wahliew the gas given off is lyk PHEW
dey cooked bout 5-7 packets of noodles at one time and
passed it on to those who were pitching tents
halfway.. COCKROACH ALERT lmaos
the cockroach flew right into the middle of the pot of noodles LOL
those really brave ppl removed the cockroach and ate the noodles
cuz der was no more food left -.-
2230, me kahwee chere annia came baq from patrol duty
and i really wanted to get some sleep
den chere and junzhi started singing DAMNIT
it was funny den it started to get real irritating cuz i was trying to sleeep
after the finally stopped, i FINALLY FINALLY FELL ASLP
with fogs croaking in the background (:
day4ONE AND A HALF MORE DAYS TO HOME (:
woke up early with a backache and feeling grossed out cuz
THERE'S NO CLEAN WATER SUPPLY = no brushing of teeth
yucccckkkkkkkkks :/
the only thing was that the sky was really pretty :DDD
there was this on where there were three stars in a row
and many many many stars above
packed up our tents and had breakfast
of bread with peanutbutter
i took bout half an hour to finish it X.X
had the TX rescue cuz some of us didn do it the other time
and yupp i drank seawter agn

i swear i'd nvr been so freaking tired b4
and i was jus bout to snap at my partner

had to kayak against the wind AND the currents
lunch was biscuits and water
and i almost fell aslp in the kayak luh LOL
okay anws yep i was so so so so so so so so so so so glad to see camp2
brought our kayaks up to shore and washed it
had a closing session den brought our stuffs baack to the store
pitched tents and cooked and ate in our WET (by then dry)clothing
bathed in the DARK cuz somehow der was no power for the GIRLS toilet
our last night at obs and somehow it felt weird
gathered at the usual place and had this "game"
we were to draw a silhouette of ourself and write 3 good points about ourself
den pass the paper arnd the grp
to let dem write one good and bad point of you
i tink it was rather cool ((:
but i would definitely lyk to noe who wrote wad luh -.-
some of dem didn wan to sleep cuz its the last night alr
but yea i fell aslp lyk straight
DEADDDDD TIRED LUH :(
and somehow the tent felt larger the last night xD
day5supposed to wake up at 530
but at 5 some stuuuuupid group woke up and made hell load of noise

so 530 woke up agn brushed teeth and blah
had PT for the last time
i tink dr boon would be so proud of us luh
WE DID SHENG GONG HUI ZAO CAO EVEN AT OBS
lol apparently the instructors found it vv amusing -.-
ppl's impression of us as a cheena school sure deepen luh zz!
had the lsat meal together at the MPH
it was kinda sad to be gg home
had stock check and found out we were missing LOADSA stuffs lol
looking at the store, it felt weird
cuz eveerything felt lyk it was the first day all over again
cleared our area den had the final activity
gave out certificates, paid money for the missing items
shopped for souveniers and yep the campw as drawing to a close
the kong1 xu2 feeling started to get to me
it was weird that 5 days came and go so fast
i'd managed to live without my fone for five days
and the thought of going back to civilisation jus makes my hair stand X.X
arnd 1 plus we left on the bumboat
not before taking the last group foto luh
the boat ride back was kinda stoney for me
i felt verryyyyy weird
daddy came to fetch me from the jetty and
me and chere went to macs to get my lunch
the first bite of NORMAL food actually made us feel alive again XD
so in conlcusion -_-
OBS was:
1.extremely fun
2.so nice u'll miss the fun onli afta u arrive back at civilisation
3.a good place to let ure hair down
4.a really really nice place where u haf no worries
5.definitely worth the money
6.something that i DEFINITELY did not regret going to
